Woven labels for durable brand identity
Woven labels form the logo and text directly with yarn. Damask, satin and taffeta constructions offer different detail, sheen, thickness and hand feel. They are a strong choice for main brand labels, exterior branding and products that must retain their identity through repeated washing.
Very small lettering and complex gradients must be adapted to the weave structure, which is why an artwork review and woven sample are important.
Printed labels for dense information
Printed satin, nylon, polyester or cotton labels are efficient when the artwork contains care symbols, composition, size, origin or several lines of small text. Flexographic, screen, digital or thermal-transfer methods are selected according to material, volume and variable-data requirements.
Legibility, edge comfort, wash resistance and the correct fold or sewing allowance are the main controls.
Heat-transfer and sublimation labels for a low-profile finish
Heat-transfer labels bond directly to fabric and avoid the bulk of a sewn label. They are popular in sportswear, underwear and products where skin comfort matters. Silicone, TPU, reflective, flock and high-density systems can also create exterior decoration.
Sublimation labels are suited to compatible polyester bases and support full colour, gradients and fine detail without a heavy surface layer.
Choose by fabric and care conditions
The decision should be tested on the actual product fabric. Stretch, dye migration, wash temperature, skin contact, pressing conditions and the desired appearance all affect the correct label system.
